Anne Marie Duff
Anne-Marie Duff (born in England) is an English actress and narration. Duff started her TV career during the late 1990s following her graduation from Drama Centre London. Anne-Marie Duff is a stage and film actress from England. She gained fame as Fiona Gallagher, the lead character in UK television's Shameless for its first two seasons. In the following seasons, she was The Virgin Queen Elizabeth I in The Virgin Queen (2006) and also the lead role in the series From Darkness in 2015. Duff appeared in Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters The Magdalene Sisters Scandal (2007) French Film (2008) The Last Station, Nowhere Boy Before Go To Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2005). Her roles of Shameless and The Virgin Queen Nowhere Boy and Suffragette have earned the BAFTA nominations for the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress categories. She was also given an award called the BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Actress for her work in the TV film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her professional career has included performances on radio, television and theater equally well. Her fame was largely due to her roles as Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama TV show Shameless and as The Queen Elizabeth as Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen.
